He obtained his B.Sc. Estate Management Degree (Second Class Honours Upper Division) and a Master of Science Degree in Construction Management, both from the University of Lagos, in 1987 and 1995 respectively.

He undertook his one-year National Service with the Premises Dept. of Continental Merchant Bank Nigeria Limited before joining the firm of Ikeyina, Edomobi&Company, (Estate Surveyors and Valuers) where he rose to the position of Principal Surveyor. Here, he was in charge of the Valuation and Development Departments of the firm, before joining Ubosi Eleh + Co.

He is a past President of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV), a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS), Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), and member of the International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI). He has a total of twenty-nine years working experience in the real estate consultancy sector.
